Morgan and I ventured out to the doctor yesterday morning. She weighed in at 7 lbs, 13.5 oz and was 21 inches long. Her weight is right on track and she's getting longer, but she's still a little thing. I love holding her close and snuggling and cuddling with her. She's still eating like a champ and is sleeping pretty good at night. It was a little rough last night because she just wanted to be held, but who am I to complain about that. Today we took a lot of naps on the couch together to catch up on the missed sleep.
I was able to get out of the house last night, by myself, and go to dinner at Ruth's Chris with my work crew. I pumped a little on Monday to try Morgan on the bottle for the first time. I wanted to make sure she would take it before I left her alone. She took right to it and enjoyed being fed by her daddy.
And just because, here is Morgan (in a cute outfit from Beth) sitting in her bouncy chair.
This is our blog. A tiny glimpse into our somewhat normal life. I'm addicted to Starbucks, like to take naps on the weekends, and watch a lot of useless TV. You’ll find stories and pictures about my three favorite people. Michael is my fabulous husband who puts up with all my crazy. Addison is our very talkative, smarter than her own good, seven year old. Morgan is our sweet five year old that loves to sing and tell made up stories. I love them all so much.
