bike ride

From our house to Publix is about 1.25 miles. We decided to trek down there on the bikes. I was pretty sure Addison could make it there and back. Morgan made it 100 yards from the house and then decided she wanted to ride in the seat still attached to Michael's bike. Probably a smart move. The motivation for the whole ride was the free cookie.

Morgan needed a place to sit so she figured the sidewalk was fine.

It was the perfect January day. Sunny with a slight breeze in the air. We were hot, but never broke a sweat. I tried to teach Addison how to ride at a slower, steady pace so she wouldn't get tired. She got it and did pretty well.

Addison had to take Marnie the mouse and water in her basket. Then I got in trouble for not bringing more water. Always my fault.

A fun little family trip on a Sunday afternoon. Next time we'll bring more water and maybe a wallet in case we decide to get something other than the free cookie at Publix.
