My new shopping addiction is World Market. I like to get holiday stuff there because it's super cute and different than the big chain stores. One day I stopped by there (just to look) and they had these gingerbread house kits for $5. The girls have never made a house so I figured why not. It's only 5 bucks and it could be fun.
Morgan was probably off in the other room playing Barbies and had no interest in participating. That was fine by Addison. She took the construction of the house very seriously.
Morgan came running as soon as she heard the word sprinkles. They had a great time making this thing.
It was hard to keep Morgan from eating the icing, the sprinkles and the gum drops. My little sugar addict was in sweet heaven.
Aunt Angela was a great helper. She piped the icing in perfect rhythm for the sugar madness.
We strategically placed the windows and doors over the mold that seemed to be forming on the gingerbread. Sugar and sprinkles are okay to munch on, but don't go near the cookie.
The house made a cute centerpiece for Christmas dinner. And then for Morgan it was dessert.
