eight years

Today marks the eighth anniversary of my grandfather's death. It seriously feels like yesterday. I miss them both so much, but I know that they are happier now.

This was taken December 2000, the day of my college graduation. I have other pictures of my grandparents, but this was one of the last ones I have of them before their minds gave way to Alzheimer's. Honestly, this seems like just yesterday. Where does the time go?

I raised my glass to him tonight. Love you bunches Grandpa.
