sickies

It started New Year's Day. I got it first, but thought it was just a cold. The next morning Addison had a fever. We both spent the afternoon in bed.

We both still felt bad on Thursday night. Poor Addison was miserable.

Yesterday I took her to the doctor. They swabbed her and she has the flu.

After spending the day on the couch with her I realized I wasn't getting better. I still had a fever and the OTC stuff wasn't making me feel better. I'm the only one in the family who got a flu shot this year so I didn't think it was the flu. I went to a doc in the box at seven last night and guess what?

That flu shot I got. Didn't work. I have the flu.

I was hoping Morgan wouldn't get it, but she just woke up with a fever. She has an appt at 1:00. Guess we'll know then.
