100th day

Today is the 100th day of Kindergarten. Their homework was to come up with something to wear that had 100 items. Pinterest is loaded with great ideas. I logged on with Addison and let her pick which one she wanted to make. We altered the original we found, but it was so easy. We cut up two lei's and glued the flowers on with fabric glue. The glue got a little messy, but that's the fun part. Addison found the jewels at the craft store so we added them to the middle of the flowers. Voila! One rainbow flower shirt.
I was so happy that Addison was in a picture taking mood this morning. Honestly, I was happy that she put it on and didn't complain. I was worried her OCD would kick in and there would be something on it bothering her. I was thrilled to see her so excited. Morgan wanted to get in on the action too. I was one happy mommy.
With all the excitement and picture taking, we missed the bus. The bus driver is never on time, except for today. Actually  there was a sub so that explains it. Before Addison got out of the car I  snapped one more picture. She was in such a good mood this morning and full of goodbye kisses.
I can't wait to hear about all of the fun things they did today.

***Updated: check out the link to the classroom blog (found at the right). Look at that smile. It makes my heart happy to see.

We did 100th day of school as well. Since my little one is PreK 4, we just counted out 100 fruit loops. Original I know!! The shirt is really cute though.
