pumpkin carving

My camera lens has died. I'm in the process of learning how to use it (finally) and then it goes and breaks on me. I'm not sure if it can be fixed or not. I do have a zoom lens that I used for these pictures, but everything is off about them. Probably because I had to stand in the living room to take pictures in the kitchen.
The girls were all about it as long as they were involved. They scooped out the guts and even traced the faces on. At one point Morgan was scooping them out of the bucket and back IN to the pumpkin.
Addison picked the happy face. Morgan the scary face.
Then they were done. Addison wanted nothing to do with pictures and Morgan ran off to the playroom to read. Guess who finished them up? That would be me.
This morning we left the house and the pumpkins are still on the porch. The girls get sad when I tell them we have to throw them away. I guess they can stick around for awhile. We'll just be that house.
