We took her to the vet for a check up and some more shots and I was sure that once I opened the cage she would bolt. She didn't. In fact, she was so nervous that she crawled back in the cage to hide. She was such a good little patient. The vet did what should needed to do and Izzie got a lollipop at the end. Not really.
The girls are in love. So much that they get a little too excited at times, which in turn just freaks Izzie out. She warmed up to Addison first. Addison is now able to go over and pick her up. It's really cute to look over and Addison is cradling her like a baby. This wasn't one of those times.
It's taking some time for her to get completely used to Morgan. I think that's because Morgan has only one way of approaching her - fast and loud. They're both coming around.
This was the first time Izzie actually laid with Morgan for an extended period of time. It was really sweet and Morgan was super happy.
Friday night we had Chipotle for dinner. Izzie's favorite part was the bag. She played with this thing for 30 minutes.
Her favorite toy is this ball/feather thing on a string. Now that it's torn to pieces it's like the toy that keeps on giving. She attacks the feather on her own and the girls still twirl the ball part for her to chase. Her other favorites are markers, the plastic balls that the Squinkies come in and just about anything in the playroom that moves. She has a field day in there.
This is her spot. The little chair that we have for the girls. Her other spot is on top of the couch. I love when she gets up there on top of the blanket that is draped over the back. Eventually the blanket slides off and so does she. It can be pretty entertaining. You can also find her curled up next to us in bed at night or down near the end of the comforter biting our toes and feet. That makes for a good wake up call at 5 o'clock in the morning.
