sunday fun day

It was cold this past weekend. We tried to think of a good indoor activity to do on Sunday. We thought about going to the movies, but there is nothing kid appropriate out right now. Then Michael mentioned the IMAX theater at World Golf Village. We hopped in the car and headed that way. We caught the noon showing of The Last Reef.
Addison had been complaining of a sore throat, but showed no signs of sickness. When she asked me if she could bring a blanket with her I didn't mind. Normally it's cold in the theater anyway. There's a little walk from the theater to the car so I bundled her up afterwards. You would think it was cold or something.
I guess 50 degrees and wind is a little cold for our blood. We're such Floridians.
After the movie we ate at Bill Murray's restaurant, Caddyshack. I had a really good salad.
After seeing this picture I realized two things. That I look really tired and maybe Addison was a little sick after all. I checked her throat that night and it was a mess. Michael took her to the doctor on Monday and she has strep. Ten days of antibiotics followed by a shot of Coke to wash down the bad taste. Still keeping my fingers crossed that no one else gets it. So far, so good.
