Yesterday was so much fun. Both Michael and I were able to go to the school and hang out with the girls during the Valentine festivites. Addison's class had a group mailbox they put all of their cards in. I was lucky enough to help pass all of them out. Then they had a fun lunch with all kinds of vegetables to try. I think most of the kids were hungry when dinner rolled around last night.
Michael snuck over to Morgan's class and went for a little walk with them to the church courtyard where they read a book. Afterwards they had a pizza party to celebrate a Valentine birthday in the class. Pizza, juice boxes, and cupcakes in one sitting. She was a happy girl.
The girls and I came home to find flowers and chocolate cake from daddy. They were so excited. Michael and I celebrated with PF Chang's take-out, cheesecake and wine. The girls opened a couple of small things from us. What's Valentine's Day without chocolate.
Michael is having made a super sweet necklace for me. It has two footprints and the girls names engraved on it. I love it just as much as I love these sweet frames they surpised us with. They were both hand painted at school. The look on Morgan's face melts my heart. And Addison is growing up so fast. She's writing all kinds of words now. If you look closely you'll see a "T" on the frame. She puts this power T on EVERYTHING she crafts because Michael has brainwashed her into such a Tennessee fan. I'm a little upset that I have to look at it every time I look at the frame, but I'll get over it. If it makes her happy then it makes me happy.
Ugh!
