last day of school

Addison had a half day on the last day of school. I went by to drop off some gifts for her teachers and participate in the 5th grade clap out. Seeing all of those emotional 10 year olds tears me up and the waterworks start flowing. Such a softie.

Addison wasn't emotional one bit. She was glad that school was over and ready to get the heck out of there.

Yay for summer! In our case not much changes, but at least there is no homework folder every night.

Since it was the last day of school, and a half I day, I broke my "no wedges worn to school" rule for this day only. Honestly, this was the highlight of her day.

Her last day as a 1st grader. I'm so proud of her and can't wait until next year.

Mainly because I'll have both girls in the same school. Which means I might have time for a coffee run in the morning without being late for work. Yay for next year!
