pic-a-nic

Morgan had a little end of the year picnic at her school. They did their version of field day, which included a water balloon toss. This may be one of the funniest things I've ever seen. As you can imagine, there wasn't much tossing. More like dropping and bursting. It's hard to tell, but the area under their feet was a lot sandier than it looks. Each time the water balloon hit the ground drops of mudd flew up on their legs. It got me too. I've never seen so many kids upset to be dirty. Some were literally crying. It took a lot for me to hold back the giggles.
It was pretty hot, so staying hydrated and lathered in sunscreen is pretty important.
Time for lunch! I went all out for the picnic and let her have lunchables.

It was a fun end of the year celebration. Other than the water balloon incident, the kids really seemed to enjoy it.
I enjoy spending time with the girls during the day. It sure makes my work day a lot more fun.
