It can't be happening. She can not be starting Kindergarten next year. My sweet and spicy baby girl is growing up. She marched down the aisle and turned around to make sure we were all there to see her graduate. It was the only thing she talked about all week.
I almost didn't believe it when Mrs. Lynn handed her the certificate.Morgan had some great teachers this year. Mrs. Mara was there most of the year and this was her last day before heading back to Puerto Rico. Morgan loved Mrs. Mara and was sad to see her go.
Mrs. Ashley was Addison's VPK teacher and we were fortunate to have her again this year. Morgan learned so much with her guidance. She's starting to read a little and loves picking out sight words in her books each night. Mrs. Ashley will work with them all summer and have the kids in tip top shape for Kindergarten.
And now for the posed pictures. It's a mom's duty to do this.
Family shot courtesy of cousin Matthew, who was able to come up and be with us for the weekend. Casual outfit on Addison courtesy of Dad, who was home with her for the afternoon.
Morgan and Lucas have grown up together. They met as babies and are still the best of friends. They will part ways after the summer, but I know they will remain close. I'll make sure of it.
This crew. They melt my heart and make me smile. Time apart never ceases to phase them. They pick up right where they left off.
And my sweet girls. They are the best of friends, who like to fight like the dickens sometimes. But they love each other so much.
Next year is a big year for me. I'm not sure if I'll be happy or sad about having them both in elementary school. It sure will make the mornings easier and increase my Starbucks time. We're going to miss Palms Preschool. They've been really good to us. But we're looking forward to the new adventures ahead.
