da plane

I think I've mentioned it before, but Michael's nephew is now going to school at Embry-Riddle in Daytona. He already has his private pilots license and can fly a small plane by himself. All of that in about 6 months. Scares the heck out of me. This past weekend was family weekend at the school so we went down to visit for the day. We took the girls to the observation tower to watch the planes take off and land.

I love this picture of Morgan. She was so content.
They had a couple small planes and a private jet open for us to climb around in. The girls thought they were hot stuff. Addison looks like she's done this before.

Morgan in the driver's seat. Addison was in this small plane for 2.2 seconds and then started to have a panic attack. That's Matthew on the left showing her how it's done.
We scored free lunch and t-shirts, a tour of the campus via Matthew, and a lesson in the flight simulator. We learned that Michael does not have it in him to be a pilot. He drove the plane like a race car and then crashed in the ocean. After two tries the instructor kicked him out.

It's such an easy day trip to take and the girls love seeing their cousin. Michael is looking forward to flying soon. He can have it.
